The hosts, Sarah and John, were beyond amazing, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hospitality was top-notch, and they provided helpful recommendations. The location boasted an incredible view of the lake, with a beautiful lawn and gardens. The breakfast options were fantastic, and the shared living/dining space was spacious and comfortable. The attention to detail throughout the lodge was impeccable, from the immaculate rooms to the heated bathroom floors. We felt like we were staying with family rather than at a B&B. This accommodation is a must-stay for anyone seeking a special treat.

Mind-blowing location with ever-changing views, fabulous hosts, spacious and spotlessly clean accommodation with home-made cake, unforgettable view from the bedroom and guests lounge, exceptional service and recommendations, upscale "bed and breakfast" with wine and cheese in the afternoon.

Stunning location with breathtaking views of the lake. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The breakfast menu had a great variety of options and everything was delicious. The rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, with heated flooring in the bathroom and comfortable beds. The guest lounge and patio were beautiful spaces to relax and take in the surroundings. an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations.
There was nothing to dislike about our stay. We only wish we had more time to fully explore the area and enjoy all that it had to offer.

We had a wonderful time in this piece of paradise! the location was perfect, with a short drive to town and a beautiful view of the lake. the hosts were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. the room was clean and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. the breakfast was delicious and made to perfection. We also enjoyed relaxing in the vast and comfortable shared space. It was truly a memorable stay.
We found the bathroom to be a bit small for our family of four.

The view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful garden and lake. the hosts were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying. the location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions.
The town itself lacked excitement and didn't offer much in terms of entertainment or activities. Some visitors might find the level of orderliness and neatness overwhelming.

I had a delightful stroll to Patience Bay, a whole kilometer away! And the garden? Simply marvelous, I felt like a noblewoman getting lost in my own estate. Ha!
Oh, and of course, what I really needed on my vacation was a desk to do some work. You know, because who doesn't want to work while enjoying stunning views and a gourmet breakfast?

The double room at High Leys Lodge was absolutely cozy and inviting. With a seating area, I could relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The satellite TV was a nice touch, allowing me to catch up on my favorite shows. Plus, having access to the executive lounge made me feel like a VIP guest. It was the perfect room for a backpacker like me!
The only thing I liked less about the room was the soundproofing. It was not as great as I expected, but hey, everyone's different!

Took a stroll to Patience Bay - not very patient, but the view was worth it. Sat in the garden pretending to be posh whilst sipping tea. Definitely felt like a fancy lady.
Couldn't take the garden home with me. How disappointing!

The hosts, Sarah and John, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The house itself was stunning, with modern and spotless decor. The views of the lake and mountains were absolutely breathtaking.
Although we would have loved to stay longer, we unfortunately had to leave at the end of our stay. But we now consider Sarah and John dear friends and can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

The double room at High Leys Lodge was absolutely fantastic! It had a cozy seating area where I could relax and unwind after a long day. The satellite TV was a great bonus, allowing me to catch up on my favorite shows. And the soundproofing was on point, ensuring a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep. As someone who loves being close to the beach, this room ticked all the right boxes for me.
Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike about the room. If I had to nitpick, I would say that I personally would have preferred executive lounge access.

Took a stroll to the bay and felt like a real explorer. Sat in the garden pretending I was the queen of nature. Oh, the breakfast! I almost ate my body weight in gourmet delicacies.
Couldn't find anything wrong, but I guess some people just don't like pretending to be royalty.
